Messages from Le Quesnoy

We have been learning how to extend our adjectives into similes and use them within our writing. We read a book about Le Quesnoy the little village in France that New Zealand saved during the war. We pretended we were soldiers there and wrote postcards home to our families. On the back of our postcards we created a silhouette on top of a sunset. Our silhouette had to depict the war or ANZAC.
